We are happy to announce that PhoMedics is one of the Technology Start-up Support Scheme for Universities (TSSSU) awardees for 2021/2022. The scheme aims to provide funding and other support to technology start-ups emerging from local universities in Hong Kong. For us as a young start-up that is still heavily focusing on research, the financial backing of TSSSU has a significant impact on our possibilities to speed up our progress. We plan to use the money to support the recruitment of additional R&D staff and invest in equipment that can bring our device to a stage where it can be placed inside hospitals to be directly tested out by medical professionals.
